Critically acclaimed director Ketan Mehta's film Rang Rasiya, based on the life of Raja Ravi Varma, has started garnering negative response from several sections for depicting nudity. The film allegedly has several bold scenes between the lead actors Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen. It even features a topless scene involving Ms Sen.


Ketan Mehta, who is no stranger to controversy, claims people are arriving at conclusions without watching the film. He has advised the protestors to consider the fact that the film has been passed by the censor board.


Ketan is unaffected by the negative publicity. In fact he realizes that such protests will create curiosity among viewers and may generate more business. Ketan has faced flak in the past when he made a movie based on Mangal Pandey and depicted the protagonist visiting a prostitute.
