Ajay Devgan has rightly proved his might with his acting skills over the years and has finally ventured into direction with this one. As most other Ajay-Kajol movies, this one too is a mush-flick. An out an out emotional drama with a fair share of comedy.
Ajay(played by Ajay himself) is a charmer and is a psychiatrist by profession. He meets Pia(Kajol) on a cruise where she works as a waitress. After a disastrous first meeting, the two hit off well gradually as Ajay tries every possible way to win his ladylove and yes, love happens.
The story focuses on two other relationships, that of two close friends of Ajay and their partners. One of the couples is happily unmarried and the other is very unhappily married.
Ajay and Pia are the much in love couple but trouble soon hits their paradise. Before they know, Pia is struck by a terminal illness. Would they be able to fight all odds and save their relationship?
This one’s for those who like watching a movie, while wetting their handkerchiefs. Superb performances by both Ajay and Kajol; their on-screen chemistry rocks equally well as their off-screen one. Overall, a commendable effort by Ajay Devgan, with his first tryst with direction.
