With one the best figures in tinselville and one of the best faces to boast of the lady in question is the ex-Miss World Priyanka Chopra. If metamorphism had to write a book on it, it shall certainly feature a huge case study on Priyanka Chopra. A tomboy then to the heartbeat of millions now, Priyanka Chopra has come a long way. With a smile that can melt the coldest heart Priyanka has natural gift of making people fall in love with her. She has the class, the elegance and sassiness that a beautiful woman like her is blessed with but she also has the earthy touch to her which helps us relate to her so well. Her friendly face works as much to her advantage and wins her love and envy alike.
Born on 18 July 1982 at Jamshedpur, her first claim to fame was when she won the coveted Miss World title in 2000. Since then there has been no looking back for the lady who has succeeded in more ways than one to create a niche for herself in the competitive Indian film Industry. With the jumpstart that Andaaz (2003) her debut movie gave her was enough to give the budding actress a cutting edge for which she also won the Best Debut award by Filmfare. What followed were few disappointments in movies like Plan (2004), Kismat (2004) and Asambhav (2004). Her movies bombed at the office but somehow with every movie she emerged as a better actor until luck finally shown on her and the audiences once again accepted her in the 2004 laugh riot ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ (2004) opposite Salman Khan and Ahshay Kumar, two stars with amazing comic timings. But despite mountainous presence she managed to hold on to her own. Her acting skills were really tested and put on the forefront in the movie Aitraaz (2004) in which played a bold character with shades of grey. It was a bold decision to take in the first place which would required her to break away from her already established image among her fans. But boy! Did she leave a mark with her acting! And the audience did not take the shift negatively and on the contrary accepted her as a versatile actress capable of choosing powerful cinema over a frivolous plot. Along came Krissh (2006) which saw her opposite Hrithik Roshan and by far remains her biggest grosser.
Born to act and shining as she lives on, the star is studded with gems of beauty, class and charisma. Her movie ‘love story 2050’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. With a look that makes it look like a Hollywood flick, Priyanka’s knack of experimenting is gaining momentum and as she plans to surprise her fans with the amount she has to offer but can’t help but wait in anticipation for her next move and the next surprise.
